Charlotte Matthews will discuss the inspiration behind her writings. Her published works include a memoir, Comes with Furniture and People, which was a finalist for Indie Awards. She is the cofounder of Whistle Words, an organization that helps women in post cancer treatment to reclaim their sense of self.
At 6:00pm, Elizabeth Becker, award winning author and journalist for the NY Times, Washington Post, and NPR will talk about her fascinating work covering wars and events in Vietnam, Cambodia, Rwanda, and South Africa. Come early and enjoy the company of other book lovers at 5:30pm.
